Hey there! I’m Tracy, 

I’ve had dogs my whole life, but when my first dog bit my friend, I was horrified and ashamed.

I did what most people do. I turned to obedience books, classes, and training advice, hoping I could learn how to control his behaviour.

But it didn’t help.

Then he bit someone very familiar to him, and in that moment, I knew this wasn’t going to be fixed with simple obedience.

I finally realized the missing piece was trust.

Not just getting my dog to listen. Not just teaching more commands. But understanding him on a deeper level, rebuilding my trust in him, and becoming someone he could trust too.

Tossing treats and teaching tricks wasn’t going to cut it.

After years of research, trial and error, I discovered a method and a lifestyle of living with dogs based on understanding, respect, communication, and relationship.

Obedience wasn’t the whole answer.

The real shift came when I stopped trying to control the behaviour and started building the kind of trust that gave both of us more confidence.
